EDUCATION
1976 B.F.A., Ceramics.  Syracuse University, College of Visual and Performing Arts, Syracuse, New York. Studied under Henry Gernhardt and David MacDonald.
1978-1987          Clay workshops at the 92nd Street Y (92NY), Greenwich House Pottery and Hunter College, New York, New York. Studied with Betty Woodman, Byron Temple, Ken Little, Elizabeth MacDonald, James Makins.
1990-present    Clay workshops sponsored by Nova Scotia Potters’ Guild. Participated in a variety of pottery-related workshops with visiting artists.
1984-present     Student of Chado (the Way of Tea) Japanese Tea Ceremony. At Urasenke Chanoyu Centre,
New York City (1984-1987) and Halifax Novachanoyu Tea Society (1987-present). Currently studying with Senseis John McGee and Alexandre Avdoulov.
